welcome to the richmond anime club's website! the r.a.c. is a community-based club in its growing stages. the club will be meeting bi-weekly, at the bon air library.

the library is full-up the next couple'a weekends, so i'm told, so the next scheduled meeting is for mach 8th at 1:00pm. in the meantime, check out the
contest page and submit away! :D i think it'd rock to make this website more unique by re-vamping it with our own mascot, what do you guys think?

hola! now that i'm home again home again the "ball" is finally rolling again! the library has approved a couple'a dates for us this month, and requests for 2008 have already been submitted. i hope to see you guys at the next meeting! XD
hope you can all join us for our holiday celebration, saturday, december 15th! :D from 11:00am-2:00pm at the bon air library. there'll be a doorprize raffle with prizes ranging from pocky and other snacks to graphic novels, dvds and plushies! i'd love to hear some ideas/requests for the upcoming holiday theme! please feel free to email me at

hey all! sorry for the prolonged uh...lack of ANYTHING. had a horrendous "attack of 'real' life" and have been very involved with my family as both grandparents recover from major surgeries as well as adjusting to a new job and schedule. i wish we had more folks involved in this club, i'd have handed the "reigns" to someone else and let them drive for a couple'a months. ;b anywho, things are finally starting to calm down again. i've got to go to the library and get new dates approved; we were only approved through june. i'll do what i can to get the ball rolling on that today when i leave work.

the next club meeting will not be saturday, may 19th, the library has the room reserved for another event and i'm a total doofus for mis-reading my calendar. the next meeting WILL be
saturday, june 2nd. i'm SO sorry for the miscommunication. line-up will stay the same, and this oughta give everyone ample time to rally their "troops"

alright, we're back! meeting this saturday, may 5th, from 2pm to 5pm. same bat place, different bat time.
[it'll happen every now and again, as the library sometimes holds meetings/other things that take presidence over our club meetings.]
only a little time left to submit your mascot entries! contest for club mascot[s] ends friday, may 18th. the winner[s] will be unveiled at the next club meeting on may 19th.

hey guys. :] the library has other things lined up for our regular time for the next
-two- club meetings. :/ this means there won't be another meeting until may 5th. if anyone's interested in seeing the movie 300, we could meet up sometime friday evening/night or sunday.
[i know sunday's iffy because of easter, but ya never know, ne? ^^ ] mayhap for the next time the club's supposed to meet i'll be able to come up with an alternative locale for that week. i don't think this'll happen -two- meetings in a row again, but i do know that there're other clubs/activities that submitted schedules and requests for the meeting room before i did. reguardless, if anyone's up for seeing 300, or any other movie that sounds interesting, for that matter, send me an email! :D

alright! i will know soon the dates/times of club meetings to be held at the bon air library for the next six moths! whoo! ['bout time, eh?] meetings will be every-other saturday, from either 11am-2pm or 2pm-5pm, depending on the library's schedule and available time slots. more news to come! check back often!
